Abstract:
Due to series production of the 4 μg/cm2 thick carbon stripper foils, prepared by laser plasma ablation-deposition, several improvements of the preparation procedure could be realized without impairing the crystal structure of random orientation, which leads to the insensitiveness against irradiation damage caused by swift heavy ions.
