Abstract:
Quantum key distribution (QKD) is an emerging technique for encrypting dense wavelength-division multiplexing networks (DWDMNs). The network-wide utilization of QKD raises challenges for deploying a QKD network (QKDN) and operating it via the key management network (KMN).
