Abstract:
Single-particle mass spectrometry (SPMS) is a sensitive measurement technique for analyzing the chemical composition of individual dust particles in real time, detected over distances from a few centimeters to several kilometers. It will be reported, how SPMS technology has been tailored and applied for the detection of individual particles of hazardous substances, warfare agents and drugs in the micro- and nanometer range. Innovative ionization methods, such as resonance-enhanced multiphoton io...    »
