Abstract:
Isochronal annealing experiments were performed on helium irradiated stainless steel specimens. From positron lifetime and Doppler broadening measurements characteristic defect configurations could be deduced. There is a strong indication that the nucleation process to helium bubbles in this material starts at 640 K.
