Abstract:
In this work, the durability of concretes made with cements containing 25% calcined illite clay (ICC) or calcined kaolinite clay (KCC) replacement is compared to conventional concrete (a/mc=0.50, CUC=350kg/m3) of portland cement (HCP). The concretes were characterized by their workability, mechanical resistance and porosity, and capillary absorption, water penetration, chloride migration and natural carbonation were evaluated (6 and 12 months).
