The use of digital process representation in Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) enhances efficiency and quality in construction, especially in early project phases. Early contractor involvement promotes innovative solutions and minimises risks, keeping projects within budget and schedule. However, implementing IPD can be unclear, necessitating guided digital visual processes for better execution. This paper examines a software tool that models complex workflows and decision-making in IPD, ensuring transparency by providing equal access to process information. This approach supports collaboration, decision traceability, and cost control, leading to shorter timelines and higher project quality. Drawing on theories regarding transparency, transaction cost, systems, and change management, the paper addresses the benefits and challenges of digital process implementation. Also combining IPD with digital tools promises a new era of efficiency and transparency in construction, requiring careful planning for success.
