Abstract:
In the paper, the influence of stress state and loading direction with respect to the principal axes of anisotropy on damage and fracture behavior of the anisotropic aluminum alloy EN AW-2017A is discussed. The focus is on numerical calculations on the micro-level considering void-containing representative volume elements revealing information on damage mechanisms.
