Abstract:
The kinetics of gas transport through bi-layer membranes consisting of self-assembled cellulose nanofibrils (CNF) on polylactic acid (PLA) support was studied by gas phase permeation techniques: their gas barrier properties were explained thanks to depth-profiled PALS (Positron Annihilation Lifetime Spectroscopy) measurements.
