Abstract:
An optical setup for laser-induced grating spectroscopy is presented. This setup provides the possibility to detect electrostrictive gratings as well as thermal gratings. Temperature measurements were carried out at different test gas conditions in a temperature range from 20° C to 70° C and a pressure range from 1 bar to 20 bar using a test chamber made of stainless steel. The experiments were performed on nitrogen containing a nitrogen monoxide concentration of 10 ppm and 125 ppm to provide the possibility of inducing a thermal grating. Due to the planned application of the laser-induced grating spectroscopy setup on a shock tube and a shock tunnel also single shot measurements were analyzed. «
